Earthing Product Care

Sheets made with cotton, polyester, and conductive silver fiber have withstood rigorous testing conducted by an independent testing lab.  Yes, your sheet is washable, and should be washed regularly, but please follow our basic guidelines:

DO NOT USE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS AS THEY CONTAIN CHEMICALS THAT CAN DESTROY OR DEGRADE THE CONDUCTIVITY OF YOUR EARTHING SHEET:
NO chlorine bleach
NO detergent containing bleach
NO liquid fabric softeners
NO “dryer sheets,” gauze-like tissues about the size of a Kleenex, put into dryer to eliminate static cling, soften clothes. and add artificial fragrance.
DO NOT DRY CLEAN YOUR SHEET OR EXPOSE IT T0 ANY SULFUR-CONTAINING PRODUCTS.

It is also recommended that no body lotions or creams be applied before bedtime to any part of the body that will come in direct contact with the sheet. The reason: these products can easily become absorbed into the sheets. The oils they contain may oxidize and diminish the conductivity of the silver threads.

When cared for properly, your sheet should last as long as any good quality bed sheet. For more information, please refer to our article on Earthing sheet care.

Mats can be cleaned with ordinary dish soap and water.
Just leave them plugged in at the outlet unless you are going to move them to another room. When you wash them, just disconnect the cord from the sheet/mat, but leave the cord plugged in to the outlet. Earthing products don’t “run” on electricity. They aren’t running up any bill when you leave them plugged in.
